How we work
Everything is built under one roof. Design, CNC, joinery, finishing and project management all sit in the same building, which means fewer handovers, less gets lost and the quality stays consistent.
We get involved early. Whether you've got a full set of CAD drawings or a rough sketch on the back of an envelope, we'll work with you to figure out the best way to build it. Materials, finishes, structure, transport, install. We think about all of it before we cut a single sheet.
Most projects follow the same path: brief, design, build, finish, deliver. But we're not rigid about it. If a client needs us to jump in halfway through a project that someone else started, we can do that. If the brief changes two weeks before install, we'll find a way to make it work.
A lot of our work is under NDA, so we can't always show it. But if you've been to a major exhibition, conference or retail launch in the last few years, there's a good chance something in the room came from us.
The Team Behind Premier Woodshop
We're based in Leicester. Designers, joiners, project managers and a finishing team, all in one workshop. It means we can move quickly, solve problems on the spot and keep an eye on every detail from first sketch to final install.
What makes us different
We keep everything in-house. That's not a sales line, it's how we work. CNC cutting, joinery, spraying, scenic finishing, installation. All done by our team, in our workshop. It means we can control the quality, hit tight deadlines and fix things quickly when a brief changes at the last minute. Which, let's be honest, happens quite a lot.
We also own all of our own AV kit. Screens, lighting, sound. So when you need tech integrated into a build, it doesn't get bolted on by a third party as an afterthought. It's designed in from the start and it actually works when someone presses the button.
Speaking of buttons. We've got a team of in-house techs who can make builds do things that most fabrication shops can't. Automations, sensors, triggered effects. Recently we built a stand with a shower head that sprays CO2 and releases a scent when someone steps in for a photo. That's the kind of thing that gets people talking and gets brands noticed. If you can dream it up, there's a good chance we can make it work.
The short version? You don't need to coordinate between a fabricator, a spray shop, an AV company and a tech team. We're all of them.
